  o dear another one has lost my custom. been here before and it was OK , but this time . i'm sorry to say food was not up to scratch . service was very poor and we had people leaving as they booked taxi's 3 hours after there table was booked but they run out of time as service was well slow.
  and they put 10% service charge on top of there bill . cheek

  The Golden Cross is well placed to serve this lovely village. Set on the crossroads it provides restaurant food, takeaways, and a public bar. Having eaten there quite often the first note of appreciation is the high level of hygiene and cleanliness. The proprietor is an excellent chef offering a varied menu of Chinese foods. A gluten free menu is also available on request. All foods are cooked in situ, and presentation is excellent. Parties and children are welcome, or as a single person eating at my table made to feel perfectly at home by the friendliness of the staff. Parking is good too.
